The funeral was held at the First Baptist Church of New Brocton, Ala., of which she was a member at 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. Wilburn Smith and her pastor, Rev. Dyles, in charge of the service. Interment was in the cemetery at New Brockton by the side of her husband who died Nov. 21, 1943. The deceased was born in Alabama on Aug. 13, 1885, the daughter of the late Malinda Carolyn Rectan and Joe Peacock. The survivors including two daughters, Mrs. Richard Sawyer, Cairo, and Mrs. C. L. Fellows, Douglas; two sons, Mr. T. W. Marsh, Brundidge, Ala., and Mr. L. L. Marsh, Montgomery; one brother, Mr. W. H. Peacock, New Brockton; one sister, Mrs. David Mixon, Ariton, Ala.; one half sister, Mrs. John Atkinson, Geneva, Ala., and four grandchildren.
