Butler, 74, passed away at one o’clock Sunday morning Nov. 24th in Orlando, FL., after an illness of a few days. Mrs. Butler was born June 12, 1872, in Gadsden County, FL., the daughter of James and Sarah Bryant Trulock; she was married to Henry M. Butler in January 1943. Fifty-four years of her life was spent in this county. Mr. Butler died in April 1924. The funeral was held at the Piedmont Primitive Baptist Church, of which she was a member, at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Elder Blackshear and Elder Quarterman officiated. Forsyth-Dekle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were: Messrs. Joe McNair, Tom Stephens, Murray Strickland, C. C. Allen, Holmes Maxwell and Howard Strickland. Surviving are three sons: Mr. Robert Butler, Gadsden County, FL., Mr. H. W. Butler, Texas City, Texas; Mr. Paul Butler, Grady County; seven daughters, Mrs. L. J. Thomas, Climax; Mrs. J. G. Carr, Mrs. Emmie Naus and Mrs. Lula Davis, all of Gainesville, FL., Mrs. Angus Jones, Miami; Mrs. Frank Cox and Mrs. Sally McBride of Orlando; one brother, Mr. W. W. Trulock, Havana, FL., one sister Mrs. H. G. Maxwell, Calvary, GA, 32 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
