Maggie Strickland Sellars

Services for Maggie Strickland Sellars, 87, Cairo, are at 2 p.m., Thursday, 
April 10, 2003 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Cairo. The Rev. Wayne Burdeshaw 
will officiate with interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo. Active 
pallbearers are Justin Bearden, James Cook, Shawn Harrison, James Kelly, Ron 
Sellars,and  Rick Sellars. Mrs. Sellars died Monday, April 7 at John D. 
Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Born Sept. 7, 1915 in Grady County, 
she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ada Miller Strickland. She was 
married to Jimmie E. Sellars who preceded her in death March 4, 1998. She was a 
homemaker, member Cairo Church of God and a lifetime resident of Cairo. 
Survivors include a son, Ronald Sellars of Cairo; daughters, Bernice Cook of 
Cairo, Bonnie Flanery of Cairo, Linda Jeanette Turner of Bradenton, Fla.; a 
sister, Eula Willis of Cairo; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one 
great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Wednesday at the funeral home. -- Clark Funeral Home
