E. McMillian and took our dear mother. She had been in declining health for several months and her death, although it was not unexpected, was a sad blow to her children. Before her marriage she was Miss Martha Clark, and a member of one of the oldest and highly esteemed families of Thomas county. She lived to a ripe old age, being in her seventy-second year. Her husband preceded her to the grave about 20 years ago. Mrs. Parramore leaves a large family circle and a host of friends to mourn her passing away. Her children are: Messrs. R. W., A. S. and O. J. Parramore, Mrs. R. M. Davis and Mrs. J. E. McMillian of Thomas county and Mrs. T. S. Copeland, Mrs. J. W. Asbell, and Mrs. Bertha Bryant of Grady county. She was a member of the Baptist church and for many years lived in its faith, a faith in which death claimed her. She was a kind and loving mother, always ready to comfort everybody she came in contact with, a fact which her passing away causes grief and sorrow to warm friends. On Tuesday, just as the golden sun was setting, she was tenderly laid to rest in the Fredonia cemetery, the last sad rites being performed by Rev. Harvey Wages, her pastor. It can be truthly said that she has gone to the reward which is so deservedly hers. "Weep not, dear children, meet me on that bright and shining shore, where we meet to part no more."
