On the evening of October 26th, 1919, we were reminded that there is nothing certain in life but that we must lose it. Our Heavenly Father removed from our midst our dear little darling James. Just after the sun had kissed the sky good bye, he kissed this world good bye for a better one. Little James was nearly three years old and it was so sad to give him up. He was taken sick Thursday and died Friday night at about 8 o'clock. Friday morning, he said to his mother, "Mamma I want Anvel to come home from school." He came, but it was too late. He leaves to mourn his sudden passing away his father, mother, and two brothers, Anvel and U.S., besides a host of relatives and friends.
