She was affected with heart trouble, being sick only three days previous to her death. She was in her forty-sixth year. Mrs. Ulmer was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and had been since childhood. She was a consistent Christian woman and tried to live in accordance with the Bible in her everyday life. The funeral services were held at Sofkee church and cemetery Tuesday morning at ten o'clock by Elders William Hollingsworth and J. J. Turnipseed conducted the service. Besides her husband, she is survived by father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hudson of Grady county, four sons and six daughters, four brothers and two sisters.
