Cairo Messenger, October 3, 1919
Rev. T. A. White Is Laid To Rest
It will bring sorrow to the hearts of Cairo's people to learn of the death of 
Rev. Thomas A. White at his home in Thomasville last Wednesday morning about 
four o'clock.

Rev. White served the Baptist church in Cairo at one time, and will be 
remembered by all our people.

The funeral services were held yesterday, the funeral being preached by Dr. 
Robert H. Harris.

Thus another good man has gone to his reward, having passed peacefully away to 
be with those who have preceded him to that home not made with hands which 
awaits for all those who love and serve the Lord.
