Cairo Messenger, October 17, 1919
On Oct. 2, 1919 the death angel hovered over the home of Mrs. J. C. White and 
took away from her, her darling husband.

Her was sixty years of age and leaves to mourn his loss a heart broken wife, 
two sons, three daughters and two brothers, besides a host of relatives and 
friends.

He was a bright and affectionate man and to know him was to love him.
