D. Barber's farm place about four and a half miles north of Cairo about 2:35 last Monday afternoon. Mr. Wilson had been in ill health for some nine months but had been confined to his bed only about two weeks. The cause of his death was due to bronchitis. He was in comparatively good feelings on the morning of his death and ate a rather hearty breakfast, it is understood. He sat up by the fire a greater part of the morning but when he was removed to his bed, he gradually grew weaker until his death, as stated. The funeral and interment took place at the Knight Grave Yard, in the Spring Hill district, at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Oates of the Pine Hill Baptist church, conducted the rites. Mr. Wilson is survived by a wife and four children. He tried to live an honest and upright life and was a kind-hearted citizen. He had many friends throughout the community.
