He had been ill with an anemic affection of blood, something hardly ever seen in one so young. All that medical skill could devise for him was done, however, but apparently without avail. He was a bright lad, about eleven years old, and was loved not only by his family, but all who knew him. He was a great reader and lover of books, and was very diligent and intelligent in his school work. The funeral occurred from the residence at the corner of Park avenue and Third street, at 4:30 Saturday afternoon, interment following in Lakeview cemetery. The news will be of much interest here because of the fact that this family was for a long while residents of Cairo. Mr. Henry Wight is a brother of K. P.,Thomas, Walter, J. B. and Miss Carrie Wight and Mrs. Eugene Clower here.
