A. White Laid To Rest Tuesday On last Monday evening at seven o'clock, Mr. Edwin Asbery White passed away at his home about six miles east of town, following an attack of paralysis on Friday afternoon before five o'clock. He was conscious up to the time of his death. The remains were laid to rest in Bold Springs cemetery Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. W. G. Sellars, and attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. Mr. White was in his sixty-third year, having been born May 13th, 1862 and had been a member of the Missionary Baptist church a number of years. He was one of the county's best known and well-to-do farmers, owning and operating large farms, besides having other business interests. The deceased is survived by one brother, Mr. George White, of Pelham, his widow, seven children, three sons and four daughters, besides a number of relatives and friends throughout the county.
