Silently this reaper entered the happy home of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Walker and took their beautiful little rosebud, Emmie Aster, on March 22nd, just as the sun was showing its light in the eastern sky; back to the God who gave it to transplant in His garden. She was three and a half years old, and in those few short years with her charming little ways, and sweet disposition entwined herself about the affections with those she came in contact. To know her was to love her. She was slow in learning to talk, but when she found she could talk, she made life joyous with her happy little prattle. How the precious mother who loved her will miss the patter of little feet. How the fond father will miss her shining face when he comes in from the field and Marvin, the only brother, and her constant companion and loved him so, how lonely he will be and how dark the night when he wakes and finds no little Aster with her loving arms about his neck. To each of the five sisters, home will never be so happy again, for she was dear to them. She was so affectionate and like a ray of sun shine, and made the world brighter with her smiles. While on her death bed, she watched her mother's troubled face and tried to cheer her by saying, "Mama I's well now." To the fond parents and precious children, we extend our deepest sympathy in this sad hour and beg you to look to Him who alone can give comfort in your great sorrow, and may His everlasting arms of love bear you up. We know little Aster is safe in the arms of Jesus, for He loves little children and said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven." We thank the Father for the three and a half years He permitted little Aster to spend with us and now as she is gone from us, Heaven will be dearer because she is there. May you again be united and a happy family in His Kingdom, when He comes to make up His Jewels is the wish of A Friend.
