N. C. Whigham Oct. 4th, 1875, and died March 29th, 1920. Sister Whigham was a trustworthy neighbor, a devoted wife and mother. She was baptised into Pine Level church on the 11th day of September, 1888. Her life was very exemplary, very refined in manner. She lived up to the profession she loved so well, a conscientious Christian life. She leaves a devoted husband, one son and nine grandchildren, besides a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. In her death the church loses a consistent member, her presence in church and community will be sadly missed, but we feel that our loss is her eternal gain, so we bow our heads in humble submission to Him that is able to give and to take, whose dealings with his people is the very essence of righteousness. Resolved, that a copy of this preamble and resolutions be left to her memory on our church book, furnish a copy to the husband and family, furnish our county paper with request to publish. A. L.
