McGiboney, Cone, Mapp, King Bible Records


This precious bible was in the possession of the Andrew King family of 
Jacksonville, FL for many years. He was the son of James R. King & Susan F. 
Wright of Greene County, GA. This information, along with pictures of the 
bible, was kindly sent to me by Mrs. P.B. King, who I could never thank 
enough! 
This Holy Bible is brown in color and well aged. The front cover is loose and 
title page and first 12 pages are missing. The overall size is 8 ˝ x 11 x 
3. From the New Testament cover page, it is an H & E Phinney’s Stereotype 
Edition  Translated out of the Original Greek and with the Former 
Translations Diligently Compared and Revised  Cooperstown, NY. The bottom 
of the page is torn and it reads in part, Stereotyped printed and published 
by ______ and sold by them at their bookstore and B_________ in the 
________.
