Meadows was born 2 Jan 1804 in Greene County, Georgia to Daniel Meadows and Anna Thompson. He died 22 Jun 1894 in Taylor County, Georgia and is probably buried in the Martin D. Chapman burial plot in Butler City (Butler Memorial) Cemetery in Butler, Taylor County, Georgia. Vincent Meadows married Martha E. King 9 Aug 1827 in Taliaferro County, Georgia. Vincent and Martha Meadows had 13 children: Richard Daniel Meadows - died at 5 days old Elizabeth E. Meadows married James Acrey Mary Ann Meadows married Martin D. Chapman Martha Frances Meadows married Abner Chapman Susan A. Meadows married James N. Chapman and James Misher Amanda R. Meadows married James T. Cooper William Daniel Meadows - died Jun 1862 CSA Emily M. Meadows married T. T. Guy Leonidas Meadows married Louisa Smith Fredonia Meadows - no further information Judson Vincent Meadows married Martha E. Moore Algin Walter Meadows married Georgia Roberts After the death of his wife Martha, Vincent married a second time. About 1862 Vincent T. Meadows married Mary C. (Cathleen) Guy. Vincent and Mary Meadows had three children: Isaac Hinton Meadows married Emery Odur Hubert Blanche Meadows married J. W. Williford Georgia Augusta Meadows - no information Vincent T. and Martha Meadows moved into Troup County, Georgia soon after Vincent drew lot # 41 in District 12 of Troup County, Georgia. Vincent and family are listed on the 1830, 1840 and 1850 Troup County censuses. They are then listed on the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Marion County Georgia censuses. According to deeds from Marion County, Vincent moved his family into Marion County Georgia in 1850. At some point prior to his death in 1894 Vincent again moved, or the county lines changed, into Taylor County close to the Macon County line. By the time the 1900 census was enumerated Vincent's widow, Mary C. Guy Meadows, had moved with her daughter Blanche Meadows Williford into Arabi, Crisp County, Georgia. Mary C.
