Co Va. d 1850 -----Columbus, Muscoogee, Ga. Griffin married Louise Starke Ezekiel graduated from William & Mary College in Williamsburg, a man of culture.. 1776- He was in the Revolutionary War. He was wounded at the Battle of Whitsells Mill (Weitzels -----He signed a petition with others for religious liberty. Pvt Amer Rev.under Gen Nathaniel -----Greene as army dodged Lord Cornwallis. Faught in battles at Cowpens in SC and Kings Mtn in ----- NC...with Brother Lt Joseph Park..were wounded at Whitsells Mill Mar 6, 1781..Wounded -----again at Battle of Guilford Courthouse in NC. Fritnd Hugh Harelson risked his life to carry -----Ezekiel from battlefield. He came with brothers James and Joseph to Ga after War, to Oglethorpe, and with county land changed- was later in Wilkes,then Greene. 1782 May 1 Joseph Parks sold to his brother Ezekiel 200 acres “on upper side of where I now live” which was on Fort Creek. Park & Jonathan Opsyck sold to James Cunningham- for $2100 575 acres on Oconee River Recorded 5 Jun. Wife Susannah relinquished dower. 4-180-1 1804 owned 200 acres in Camden Co Ga. 1805 Land Lottery drew 512 acres 1820 Census= Greene Co. Ga.
