  This Indenture made this first day of Febry in the year of our Lord One 
Thousand Eight hundred and sixteen between Greene Baily of the state of 
Georgia Putnam County of the One part and Saml Coldwell of Greene County and 
State aforesaid of the Other part Witnesseth that I the sd Greene Baily for 
and in Consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by 
the sd Saml Coldwell the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Bargained 
and sold and do by these presents Grant Bargain sell and Confirm unto the sd 
Samuel Coldwell all that Tract or parcel of Land lying and Being in Greene 
County and State aforesaid on the waters of Stewarts Creek Beginning on a 
Chinquipin running South Sixty Seven West Twenty Chs and Twenty five links to 
a pine Thence South Ten East Twenty four Chs and fifty links to a Pine thence 
North seventy Eight East Twenty Chs and Twenty five links to a Pine from 
thence to the Beginning Containing by Estimation Fifty Acres be the same more 
or Less Bounded by Gatlins and Loves Land and I the sd Green Baily do by these 
presents bind myself heirs Exrs admrs and assigns unto Samul Coldwell his 
heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the aforesaid Tract or parcel 
of Land with all and singular its rights and Appertinances against the Lawful 
Claim of all person or persons to his and their Only use & Behoof in a Right 
of Fee simple forever  In Witness whereof I have set my hand & seal the day 
and year first above written

and Made Oath they Saw Greene Baily make his mark acknowledge and Deliver the 
within Deed of Conveyance to Samel Coldwell and that they are Subscribing 
Witness to the sd Deed Sworn to before me this 4th day of September 1816
