  This Indenture made this Twenty Seventh day of December Eighteen hundred and 
ninteen Between Samuel Coldwell of the state of Georgia Green County of the 
one part and Elias Ivey of said State and County aforesaid of the other part  
Witnesseth that I the said Samuel Coldwell for and in consideration of the sum 
of Five hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by the sd. Elias Ivey the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained & sold and do by these presents 
Grant bargain sell & confirm unto the said Elias Ivey all Tract or parcel of 
Land Situate lying and being on Greene County & State aforesaid on the waters 
of Stewarts Creek Beginning at a Sweet Gum on a Branch running South Ten East 
forty Chains to a pine thence South Seventy seven West Seventeen Chains to a 
Pine thence North ten West thirty eight chas to a pine from thence to the 
Beginning Sweet gum containing by estimation Seventy six & one half acres be 
the same more or less bounded by South & Jacksons Lands And I the sd. Samuel 
Coldwell do by these presents bind myself heirs Excutors Admrs. & assigns unto 
the sd. Elias Ivey his heirs & assigns to warrant and forever defend the 
aforesaid Tract or parcel of land with all & singular its rights & 
appertenances from all person or persons to his & their only use & behoof in 
right of fee simple for ever In Witness whereof I have set my hand & seal the 
day & year first above written
