Caldwell of the County of Greene and State aforesaid of the one part and Samuel Gentry of the same County and state of the other part Witnesseth that the said William L Caldwell for and in consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Samuel Gentry at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted Bargained and sold unto the said Samuel Gentry one Eighth part of a certain tract Lot or parcel of Land containing by survey one hundred and Seventy five acres conveyed by Andrew Barns to William Caldwell situate lying and being in the County of Greene and State aforesaid on the Waters of Richland Creek bounded Westwardly by Nat Wades land Eastwardly by William Wallaces land and S Westwardly by Land surveyed for Addleton and Westwardly by Bales land together with all & singular the rights members and appurtenances whatsoever to the said rights one eighth part of said tract of land being belonging or in any wise appertaining and one Equal Eighth part of the said tract of land and the said William L Caldwell doth by these presents for himself his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns Warrant and forever the right & title of the aforesaid one Eighth part of said tract of land against himself his heirs &ct and against all manner of person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same unto the said Samuel Gentry his heirs Executors administrators and assigns as a clear and indefeasible estate in fee simple forever In testimony whereof the said William L Caldwell hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of his John Bethune William x L Caldwell Jonas Fauchr J.
