Caldwell To Roberts

Greene County}  this Indenture made and entered into this the Twenty eighth 
day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five 
between William Caldwell of the State and County aforesaid of the one part & 
Wiley A Roberts of the same State and County of the other part
	Witnesseth that the said William Caldwell for and in consideration of 
the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Wiley A. 
Roberts at the signing of these presents the said William Caldwell has 
bargained & sold unto the said Wiley A Roberts a Certain lot of land lying & 
being in the County of Greene & State aforesaid containing Eighty acres be the 
same more or less on the Waters of beaverdam Creek adjoining Jones _____ and 
others beginning at a red Oak running to Atkinsons line from thence with 
Adkinsons line and with others to the beginning corner with all and singular 
its members and appurtenances to have and to hold all and singular the same in 
right of his wife which I have hereunto Set bound myself my heirs & assigns & 
warrant & forever defend the same from all persons or persons Claiming or to 
claim the same or any part thereof to the said Wiley A Roberts his heirs Exrs 
and assigns in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 
the day and date above written
