This Indenture made in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and 
ninety three and in the seventeenth year of American Independence between 
Peter Parham and Rachel Parham his wife of the county of Columbia & State of 
Georgia of the one part & Elijah Fuller of the County of Greene & State 
aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Peter Parham & Rachel
his wife hath for the sum of fifty pounds in hand paid bargained & sold to by 
these presents doth bargain sell release & confirm unto the said Elijah Fuller 
his heirs, executors & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate(sic) 
lying & being in the county of Greene and State aforesaid containing two 
hundred acres joining Wm. Burford, Cornelius Batchelors, Eustice Daniell & 
Issac Boring on the waters of old Town Creek & is bounded or followeth. 
Beginning at a chestnut turning South 45E 40 chains to a red oak: thence North 
45E 50 chains to a black oak thence N 45W 40 chains to a Wo. oak; thence South 
45w 50 chains to the beginning. Together all and singular the rights members & 
appentenances whatsoever whereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining with 
all houses orchards woods & underwoods unto the said Elijah Fuller his heirs & 
assigns forever.  I the said Peter Parham & Rachel his wife shall & will 
warrant and forever defend the said land & premises from themselves, their 
heirs executors, administrators & assigns from every other person or persons 
whatsoever unto the said Elijah Fuller his heirs & assigns forever in witness
whereof the said Peter Parham & Rachel his wife haft herein to set their hands 
& seal this (blank) day of December 1793.
