State of Georgia }  This Indenture made this the Tenth day of Decbr 
Eighteen hundred Greene County   }  and nineteen Between William 
Greer of the state of Georgia & County aforesaid of the one part & 
Andrew Canady of the state and County aforesaid of the of the other part 
Witnesseth that the said William Greer for and in Consideration of the sum of 
four hundred & Twenty six Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Canady the 
receipt whereof is acknowledged hath granted Bargained sold & Confirmed & by 
these presents doth grant Bargain Sell & Confirm unto the said Canady his 
heirs and assigns forever all that Tract or parcel of Land Containing Seventy 
one acres & Six Tenths said Land Beginning at a root in the middle of the road 
Thence north Twenty five East to a pine Thence N 65 West 29 ch 70 links to a 
red oak Bradshaws Corner Then South 70 W 55 ch 10 links to the road a pine 
Thence along the road to the Beginning with all and Singular the premises 
appertenances thereunto Belonging and the said William Greer doth warrant & 
defend the rite & Title of the said Land against any person or persons 
whatever  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my  hand & seal this 18 Decr 
1819
