Hardiman to Caldwell

Georgia              }  This Indenture made this fourteenth day of November
Putnam County  }  Eighteen Hundred and thirty one between Thomas 
Hardeman of the county and state aforesaid of the one part, and William 
Caldwell of the state aforesaid and county of Greene of the other part  
Witnesseth that the said Thomas Hardeman for and in consideration of
 the sum of fifty Dollars to him in hand paid by the said William Caldwell 
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained & sold & by 
these presents doth bargain & sell unto the said William Caldwell his heirs 
and assigns the following piece or parcel of land to wit, a part of the bounty 
of land granted to George Folds and lying in the County of Greene and on 
the northend of said bounty – Beginning on a Black oak by Luckeys fence 
and running south six chains to a Post oak, thence West thirty eight chains 
to a stake thence North six chains to a stake thence East thirty Eight chains 
to the beginning containing Twenty three acres more or less  To have & to 
hold said lands with its appurtenances unto the said William Caldwell his 
heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the said Hardeman doth forever 
relinquish all right title interest & claim to the above described parcel of 
land 
but does not warrant the title hereto In witness whereof the said Thomas 
Hardeman hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day and Year above written
