For and in consideration of the sum of $125 dollars, assigns all that tract of land being on the Waters of the Ogeechee River containing 163 ½ acres, except 1 acre for the graveyard which is on said tract of land. Witnesses; s/ William Harris Daniel Underwood Miles Cartwright John N. Harris, JP Recorded 2nd day of February 1830 Thomas W. Grimes, Clerk PLAT The following tract of land begins at a red oak---- to a poplar on the branch, thence down the meanders of said branch to a sweet gum at the confluence of the two branches, thence up the meanders of the other branch to a poplar corner, thence N27 E8.50 to the beginning--containing 163 ½ acres besides a reserve of 1 acre for the graveyard which is on it.
