Dunn of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Richard Irby for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell and convey unto said Hiram R. Dunn all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Greene and State aforesaid on the waters of Shoulderbone Creek containing Sixty nine acres more or less, butting and bounding as follows, viz. beginning at Red Oak and running _____ ______ ___ 23 chains to a Sourwood, thence South 12° W. 23° 50 to a S______ _________ ______ E 8. 70 ch. to a Rock thence N. 10 W. 25 ch to a Rock thence to the beginning, to have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said premises, belonging or in any wise appertaining, to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof in fee simple. And the said Richard Irby for himself his heirs, executors and administrators the said bargained premises to the said Hiram R. Dunn his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof, against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the said Richard Irby hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written. Signed, sealed and delivered in presence of Richard Irby (L.S.) William T.
