Georgia            }   Know all men by these presents that I Jonathan Kenady of
Greene County }   the state and County aforesaid in consideration of the sum 
of Two Hundred and fifteen Dollars to me in hand paid by William Redd of the 
State and County aforesaid have granted bargained sold and released and by 
these presents doth grant bargain sell and release unto the said William Redd 
all that tract or parcel of land containing Thirty and four Tents of acres be 
the same more or less Beginning at a pine stump and running N 65 Deg W 27 ch 
22 links to a red oak corner from thence N 78 Deg E 19 ch 50 lks to a chestnut 
corner from thence S 70 Deg E 14 ch 70 lks to a stake corner on John Birds 
line from thence S 10 Deg W 14 ch to the beginning corner situate in the 
County aforesaid on the waters of Fishing Creek bounded E by land held at this 
time by John Bird to the N. E. by land belonging to Elijah Bradshaw to the S. 
W. by land belonging to the said Redd it being a part of a tract of Land 
granted to James Hines together with all and singular the rights members and 
appurtenances there unto belonging or in anywise there unto appertaining to 
have and to hold all and singularly the premises before mentioned unto the 
said William Redd his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and I do bind 
myself my heirs Executors and administrators and do warrant and forever defend 
all and singularly the premises unto the said William Redd his Heirs and 
assigns against myself and my heirs and against every other person or persons 
whatsoever Claiming the same or any part thereof  In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto placed my hand and seal this Twenty fourth of January 1822
