To all to whom these presents shall come I Miram Lincecom do send greeting Know ye that I the said Miram Lincecom of the county of Washington & state of Georgia for & in consideration of the love good will & affection which I have & do bear to my grandson Giddion Berry of the county & state aforesaid have given granted & by these presents do give grant unto the said Giddion Berry his heirs executors or administrators one negro girl named Pat of which before the signing of these presents I have delivered unto him the said Giddion Berry. To have & to hold the said negro girl Pat to him the said Giddion Berry his heirs executors or administrators from hence forth absolutely as his or there right & property & absolutely without any manner of conditions excepting the said negro should have any children then in that case the first child shall belong to my granddaughter Linna Lincecom but all the rest of the issue to the said Giddion Berry. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirty first day of May one thousand seven hundred & ninety three Signed Sealed & Delivered in presence of Chs Medlock Miram (X) Lincecom Hancock County Personally appeared before me Peter Boyle one of the justices of the peace for said county Col. Charles Medlock who being duly sworn deposeth & saith that he seen the within instrument of writing signed and acknowledged by Meriam Lincecom & that he seen Geo.
