This Indenture made this tenth day of February Anno Domini 1807 between Joshua 
Moore of Greene county, State of Georgia of the one part and Francis Truitt of 
state and county aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for and in 
consideration of the sum of $1,500.00 to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I 
do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and by these presents do bargain sell 
convey and confirm unto the sd Francis Truitt a certain tract or parcel of land 
lying and being in the sd county on the waters of Shoulderbone Beginning on the 
Bank of said Creek running So75 W to a Dogwood corner thence No 15 W53 chs. 61 
links to a Pine [oak crossed out] corner thence [South crossed out] No 7 [looks 
like S Elinks crossed out] E53 chs 61 links to a red oak corner thence So15 
E43chs 10 links to a Mulberry corner thence S85 E11 chs 75 links to a red oak 
corner thence S13 W46 chs to a pine corner thence N85 W16 chs 50 links to a 
dogwood corner thence S47 W to the Creek thence up sd Creek to the beginning 
contained 359 acres the same more or less TO have and to hold the sd tract or 
parcel of land unto the sd Francis Truitt his heirs and assigns forever and I 
the said Joshua Moore do bind myself my heirs exor. admr. and assigns to warrant 
and forever defend the aforeSd premises against any legal claim or claims with 
all its rights titles tenements and hereditaments unto the aforeSd Francis 
Truitt his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. Signed sealed and delivered 
in presence of us Riley Truitt, Samuel Moore, Reuben Ransom JP. Joshua Moore 
seal. Recorded 19 September 1811.
