	This Indenture Made this twenty seventh day of August and in the year 
of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & ninety two Between John Parker of the 
County of Elbert & State aforesaid of the one part and John Kelley of the 
County of Wilks and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said 
John Parker for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds to him in hand 
paid well and truly paid by the said John Kelley the receipt whereof is herby 
acknowledged & have bargained sold and by these presents do bargain and sell to 
the said John Kelley tract of land containing two hundred eighty seven & half 
acres in said State on the waters of Sholderbone Creek butting and bounding and 
bounding Northeastwardly by Jacksons land Southwestwardly by unknown lands and 
on all other sides by vacant land the same will fully appear by a grant from 
his Excellency Eastward Telfair to Joh Shackleford bearing date the twenty 
twenty fourth no number seventeen hundred and eighty six  To have and to hold 
by the said John Kelley his heirs and assigns forever the said John Parker his 
heirs and assigns forever and bargained land and premises with the 
appertainances thereof and he the said John Parker do warrant and defend the 
same against the claim or claims of every person or persons whoever unto the 
said John Kelley his heirs and assigns forever
  In Witness whereof the said John Parker hath hereunto set his hand the day & 
year above written  The above land lying in Green County
And Sealed and delivered in the presence of
