The Daily Constitution, Atlanta, GA., July 25, 1879
The National Agricultural Congress.  The next semi-annual meeting of the 
national agricultural congress will convene in session at Rochester, N.Y., 
September 15th, 1879.  Dr. Thos. P. Janes of the state agricultural department 
is president of the congress, having been elected at the last meeting of the 
body.  The standing committee for local arrangements, of Atlanta, is composed 
of Dr. Thomas P. Janes, Richard Peters and Malcom Johnston.  The president is 
at the present engaged sending out circulars calling attention to the 
meeting.  Georgia will be well represented in the congress.
