J.D. Champion Dies at Home in Penfield

J.D. Champion, father of Mrs. S.A. Corker, of Atlanta, died Sunday morning at 
his home in Penfield, Ga., after a protracted illness resulting from 
paralysis. 

Mr. Champion had many friends in Atlanta. He is survived in this city, besides 
his daughter, by a granddaughter, Mrs. G.R. Glenn, Jr., and a nephew, Dr. W.L. 
Champion. He was 70 years old. The funeral will be held in Penfield Monday.
