IN MEMORIAM

She is resting with the angels,
She is free from all pain,
Her trial of life is over and ever
More with her Saviour she shall dwell.

  On June 16th, 1902, death spread its black wings in our midst, and took from 
this earth our friend and sister in Christ, Mrs. W. H. Wright nee Miss 
Copelan.  Her remains, followed by relatives and a large number of 
sympathizing friends, were interred in the Walker cemetery, Rev. L. H. Green 
officiating.
  She had been in bad health for (damaged area, unreadable).  During all of 
her sickness and pain not one murmer was uttered from her lips.
  Monday morning at 3 o'clock the angels came and took her spirit from sin and 
suffering to enter into the realms of peace and happiness, where no sorrows or 
sufferings are known.  She loved her Saviour and was perfectly resigned to her 
fate. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.  We are grieved because of 
her departure, but the Lord knows best.
  All was done that a loving husband could do to prolong her stay on earth, 
but the Lord had said, "It is enough, come up higher."
  How could we wish for her back again into this world of sickness and 
sorrow?  She cannot come to us but we can go to her, and then there will be no 
more separation, no farewell tears, but all will be eternal happiness.
  On her death bed she would often talk of her Saviour's love and ask her 
friends to live a Christian life, and ask her loved ones not to weep for her 
when she was gone, that death would be a sweet relief to her.  She was 
converted in early life and was at the time of her death a member of Walker's 
church.  She leaves a heart broken husband, two daughters, three sons, grand-
children and other relatives to mourn her loss.  May the Lord comfort them in 
their bereavement.       A Friend
