The Daily Constitution
Mr. Beverly Davis, of Greene county, died suddenly last night at the home of 
his brother, Mr. Jacob Davis, six miles from Augusta. Mr. Davis came here 
yesterday to visit his brother, whom he had not seen since the war. During the 
night he went out in the yard, and being absent for a long while, Mr. Jacob 
Davis went out to see what had become of his brother and he found him in the 
garden dead. Brain affection caused the sudden demise.
