HARRY LEE GEER PASSES AWAY

   Mr. Harry Lee Geer, 55, of Greensboro died at his home in Greensboro on 
Wednesday October 21st after and extended illness.
   Mr. Geer worked 36 years as a Sandwich shop operator at Geer's Cafe until 
his illness in 1960.
   He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensboro and a graduate of 
Greensboro High School in the class of 1932.
   He was born in Greensboro, Ga., on December 18th, 1914 the son of the late 
Mr. Harry Hill Geer and Mrs. Hopie Atkinson Geer.
   He is survived by his mother Mrs. Hopie A. Geer of Greensboro.
   Graveside Services were held Friday afternoon Oct. 23rd at 2:30 P.M. at the 
Greenview Cemetery in Greensboro with Rev. C. H. Kopp and Rev. Harold Tice 
officiating.
   Interment in City Cemetery.
   The pallbearers were: Bud Jordan, Henry Maxey, H. G. Baynes, E. H. Armor, 
Elmer Walker, Bill Moore.
   McCommons Funeral Home in charge of Arrangments.
