Sanders Dies at Commerce Commerce, Ga., June 5.--(Special.) Charles Mallory Sanders, formerly of Pensfield, Ga., died in this city this afternoon. He was a noted agriculturist in Greene county and was recognized as one of the leaders of the Baptist church. He was the son of Billington M. Sanders, who was the first president of Mercer university. He is survived by his wife and the following children, Dr. Leatus Sanders, of this city; Mrs. Charles M. Walker, of Monroe; K.D. Sanders, of Eatonton; M.T. Sanders, of this place, and Mrs. H.R. McClatchy, of Columbus. He was 73 years of age. Burial will be at Pensfield in Green county Sunday afternoon with religious services conducted by his pastor, Rev. R.E.L. Harris.
