SUE LITTLE DIES One of Morgan County's best known ladies, Mrs. Sue Vincent Little, died April 9th at Morgan Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Little was 87. A lady of keen intellect who was vastly interested in all facets of life, Mrs. Little loved people, her community and its history. She was born in Greene County, the daughter of the late Luther A. and Mary Wright Vincent. She was educated in that county and came to Madison after her marriage. During recent years she has assisted her grandson, Mr. Hoyt Dooley, in the active management of Madison Theater. She also raised fine turkeys on her farm near Madison and her needlework and fine cooking were enjoyed by numerous Morgan Countians. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Atkinson and Mrs. William H. Jago of Madison, a brother, Mr. Comer Vincent of Madison, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Lawrence Cross and Mr. Hoyt Dooley, also of Madison, and three great grandchildren, Carey Cross, Hoyt Dooley, Jr. and Mary Dooley. Funeral services have been set for 2:30 Thursday afternoon at Madison Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Perry Miller and the Reverend Truman Whitaker will officiate. Interment will be in Greensboro City Cemetery. Simmons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Minor typos corrected.
