Fuller May 16, 1837 Mar 10, 1870 Freddie Fuller Sep 16, 1861 1864 Additional Coments: Buried in Nickelson Lot Frederick C. Fuller enlisted on June 26, 1861 and was elected 3rd Lieutenant in Company A, Rifle Battalion, Phillips' Legion in Cobb County, Georgia by the governor of the state. He was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant on August 2, 1861 and to 1st Lieutanant on December 18, 1861. He was appointed Legion Infantry Acting Adjutant sometime between August and November 1862. He was promoted to Captain on May 1, 1863 and was absent on furlough during September and October 1863. Frederick was killed in action on May 10, 1864 at the battle at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia. Frederick married Julia M. Nickelson, daughter of James B. and Anna M. Nickelson, on June 20, 1860. Before the War, Frederick had been an attorney, newspaper publisher and mayor of Greensboro (1857-1858).
