HORKAN-PARK.
Greensboro, Ga., November 16.—(Special)—Miss Elizabeth Horkan, of Augusta, and 
Mr. Noel Poullian Park, of this place, were married at the home of the bride 
in Augusta Tuesday evening, November 5, at 8 o’clock.

The ceremony was solemnized in the presence of the family and relatives, the 
Rev. Father Bazan being the celebrant, and following the marriage service was 
the reception, including over three hundred guests.

An immense white wedding bell of chrysanthemums was suspended in the center of 
the archway and beneath this the young couple made their marriage vows. The 
groom and his best man, Mr. Miles Lewis, of Athens, met the bride and her 
maids at the altar. The bridesmaids were Miss Anna Lewis and Miss Masia Park, 
of Greensboro; Miss Georgia Boswell, of Penfield; Miss Bessie Hauser, Augusta. 
The groomsmen were Messrs. Will Jackson, Greensboro; Junius Lewis, Henry 
Wells, Atlanta; William Horkan, Augusta. The maid of honor was Miss Hallie 
Park, of Greensboro. The two little flower girls were Dorothy Sullivan and 
Marion Park.

The bride entered with her guardian, Mr. Daniel Fogarty.

After receiving their guests, a wedding supper was served. In cutting the 
bride’s cake, Miss Anna Lewis cut the ring; Miss Bessie Hauser the thimble, 
Miss Georgia Boswell the dime; Miss Hallie Park the penny.

Mr. and Mrs. Park left in a shower of rice and good wishes for their bridal 
trip to New York and other places. In three weeks they will go to their future 
home in Greensboro.
