     Marriage Yesterday

  Yesterday at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. C. A. Davis, sr, a few 
particular friends gathered to witness the marriage of Mr. I. L. Stevens, of 
Jacksonville, to Miss Lucy Davis, of this city.  The ceremony occurred at 11 
o'clock and was performed in a deeply impressive manner by Rev. F. H. Ivey, 
pastor of the Baptist church of this city.  Many friends with the happy couple 
long life and great joy.
