Davison Written: August 8, 1934 Georgia, Greene County. I, Mrs. R.E. Davison, of said county, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, sign and seal this my last will and testament, revoking any others heretofore made by me: Item 1. I direct that my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible, consistent with the interest of my estate. Item 2. I give, will, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Annie Davison, all my stocks and bonds of which I die possessed, and all my furniture, silverware, dishes, and such-like personal property in my home in Woodville, Ga., where I now live. Item 3. I give, will, devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate and property, of whatever sort and nature, remaining after the devise in item 2 above, equally and share and share alike, and in fee simple, to my children, to wit: Annie Davison, Mrs. L.P. Maxey, Mrs. Ida D. Rowe, Mrs. Sarah D. Cook, Mrs. Ellen D. Gilbert, Henry Davison and J.E. Davison, and to my two grandchildren, Robert McWhorter Davison and Charles Julian Davison, sons of my deceased son C. Julian Davison, provided, however, the said two grandchildren shall take jointly a child's part of my estate in this item devised, and stand in the place of their deceased parent; And provided, that any advancement to either of my said two sons, Henry Davison, and J.E. Davison, or any amount due by either of them, whether to me or to the estate of my deceased husband, the late R.E. Davison, shall be counted as an advancement and deducted from the portion of my estate inherited by them, respectively, under this item of this will, and they or either of them, shall account for the same to the other legatees. Item 4. I name and appoint my two daughters, Annie Davison and Mrs. L.P. Maxey, executrixes of this my will, relieving them of giving bond, of inventory, and of any returns to any court. I expressly authorize and empower them to sell or otherwise dispose of any or all of my estate whenever in their judgment necessary or expedient, including stocks, bonds, notes, accounts, lands, personal property or whatever the same may be, making good titles to the purchaser or purchasers, such sale to be either private or public, and without advertisement or order of any court; to make settlements and compromises of disputed or insolvent claims; and to do all things in connection with my estate, and conduct and manage the same, in the same way and manner and as fully, as I could do in in life. [Handwritten -- In making this will, I am trying to follow the known wishes of my late husband, R.E. Davison.] Witness my hand and seal, this August 8th, 1934. [Mrs. R.E. Davison] Signed, sealed and declared by Mrs. R.E. Davison as her last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned, who sign hereto as witnesses at the instance and request of testatrix, she first signing in our presence and we then signing in her presence and in the presence of each other.
