To all whom these may concern.  Know ye that for & in consideration of 
the Love, Goodwill & affection which I have towards my two Grand-
daughters, Elizabeth Finch Harper & Cynthia Dunlap Harper, daughters to 
James Harper of the state aforesd & County of Jackson & other good 
cause’s me thereunto moveing? I have given & granted & by these 
presents doth freely give & grant unto the aforsd Elizabeth Finch 
Harper one fether Bed & furniture & also all my Kitchen Furniture 
consisting of one ____ & Pots, half a dozen plates, one dish, one 
walnut table & an half ____.

To Cynthia D. Harper I freely give & bequeath aforsd one cow & calf 
mark’d with a small crop in the right ear & an upper slope in the ____ 
with all there increse also one fether bed & Furniture thereunto 
belonging.

I do therefore confer the right of the above mentioned property to 
Elizabeth F. & Cynthia D. Harper their heirs & afsigns forever in fee 
simple in witnefs whereof I hereunto set my hand & seal this 7th day
