Will of Josiah Kimbrough 14 Oct 1825 Greene County, GA Greene Co., GA, Will Book F (or 4), p. 114 Josiah Kimbroughs will I Josiah Kimbrough of the County Green & State of Georgia being sick & weak in body but of sound mind & Memory thanks to Almighty God for the same but calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life do make & ordain this to be by last will & testament in manner & form following Item it is my will & desire that all my just should be paid out of my estate. Item I give unto my loving wife Elizabeth Kimbrough one negroe woman named Jane & one negroe girl named Ann one girl named mandy one girl named Rose & their futer increase. I give the said negroes to my loving wife Elizabeth to dispose of them as she may think proper. Item I lend unto my loving wife Elizabeth Kimbrough one negro man named Bob & all the balance of my estate both real & personal during her natural life & at her decease I give the said property to be equally divided between the heirs of my brother Bradley Kimbrough & my brother John Kimbrough. I do hereby appoint my loving wife Elizabeth Kimbrough & my brother John Kimbrough & John Slaughter senr Executrix & executors of this my last will & testament utterly disannulling all other wills heretofore made by me.
