Probated & recorded to record ___ of July 1872 In the name of God, Amen. I, John King, being at this time in feeble health, but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament. Item 1st I direct that after my decease my body be buried in a decent manner suited to my circumstances. Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Irena P. King, all the property both real and personal of which I may die possessed for and during her natural life, provided she shall remain in the situation in which I leave her, that is to say in a state of widowhood. But if my said wife, Irena P. King should marry, then all my property of every kind shall immediately go to and be vested in my two children Martha E. King and Edwin F. King and a child prospective and be divided especially between them. Item 3rd At the death of my said wife, Irena P. King, I direct that all my property be equally divided between my said children, Martha E. King and Edwin F. King and the prospective child. Item 4th I direct that during the life or widowed of my said wife, Irena P. King, the whole of my estate shall be kept together and that my said children be educated and supported out of the proceeds thereof. If however, my said wife shall be disposed to give to either of my children on marrying or attaining the age of twenty one years ___ part of my estate, she may be at liberty to do so taking account of the property so given and which shall be considered an advancement to said child on making the final division of my estate. Item 5th I give make the same disposition of the property that willed to me by my Father, William C. King, now in possession of my mother, that is to go to my wife during her life time and widowhood and when either shall end to be equally divided between my or any my children, Martha E. King and Edwin F. King and my prospective child. Item 6th I hereby appoint and constitute my executors brother-in-law, William Parks? And my friend M. W. Lewis executors and my wife, Irena P. King executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the eighteenth 18th of April eighteen hundred and seventy two.
