L. Strain Clk C.O. In the name of God, Amen I, James Luckey, being of sound mind and disposing memory do constitute this to be my last will and testament and of touching my worldly affairs that has pleased God to indow me with. I leave and bequeath in the following viz Item 1st I leav and bequath to my wife Nancy Luckey the part of land we now live on containg one hundred forty nine acres and one Negro man named Isaac he is the oldist and one negro girl named ginny, two horsis, and third rart(?) stock of all kinds to gather with half my hous and kitchen fornitor and third my farming utensials during her natural life or widowhood and if she marys, having my Executor is to have the controls of all the property that I have left her but her to have all the profits arising from it during naturel life and for my son Wm. Luckey to have the care and management of it for his Mother. Item 2nd I leav and bequith to my Daughter Mary Norwood one Negro woman named hanna and her increas columbis henry Betsy and Luis with all hearafter I lieve this property to be hirs and her bodly heirs and not to be subject to pay any of Mr. Norwood's debts. Item 3rd I leve and bequeth to my son William Luckey the settlement of land I got from Greer and Champion and at his Mothers death to have the land left her with the land I got from Coldwall he is to have the rest of the property left to his Mother, Except Ginny she is to go to my Daughter Nancy Fears and her increas. I lieve to my son Wm. Luckey three negro men Rubin Ick and gerry with all the other property not willd to his sister, this property I lieve to him and his hairs for his and their seport but not to be subject to pay his debts. Item 4th I lieve and bequeth to my Daughter Nancy Fears and her bodly hairs the land I got from Fairs, two negro women Hoviah and winny with winnys increas. This property I lieve for the seport of my Daughter Nancy Fears and her bodly hairs it is not to be subject to pay Mr. Fears debts or any other ??, this property is to remain with hir and hir bodly hairs. And I do hereby appoint my son Wm. Luckey to be my lawfull Executor of this my last will and testament.
