Georgia, Gwinnett County

This indenture made the 27th day of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and twenty two between Littleberry Meeks of  the one part
and Samuel Lee of the one part both of the state and  County aforesaid
witnesseth that the said Littleberry Meeks For and in consideration of the sum
of two hundred  Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the signing sealing of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged  hath granted
bargained sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the
said Samuel Lee a certain tract or lot of land situate in the fourth district of
the County of Monroe in the state aforesaid  known & distinguished in the plat
of said District by lot number one hundred forty seven Containg Two hundred two
and a half acres __ the same more or less to have and to hold the said tract or
lot of land together with all and Singular the rights member and appurtenances
thereof whatsoever unto the said  Samuel Lee his heir and assigns to his and
their own proper use, benefit and behalf forever in fee simple hereby warranting
and defending the same  for my heirs, myself and assigns and all ____ any other
person in witness of  I hereunto set my hand and seal in the day and year above
written.
