The Atlanta Constitution April 13, 1913
Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Leonard entertained very delightfully last Wednesday 
evening at their home in East Atlanta, celebration of their twentieth wedding 
anniversary. Vases of white and purple iris were placed in the reception hall 
and parlor, and handsome palms, and feathery ferns were grouped throughout the 
apartment. The table were [sic] punch was served presented a beautiful 
appearance. The centerpiece of pond lilies was surrounded by purple violets. 
Those who assisted in entertaining were Mrs. George Waggoner, Mrs. Lloyd 
Leonard and Mrs. A.S. Williamson, of Rockmart. Appropriate music for the 
occasion was charmingly rendered by Miss Lillian Everett and Mrs. Lloyd 
Leonard. Mrs. Leonard’s lovely gown of pink crepe meteor was veiled with lace. 
Many beautiful pieces of hand-painted china were presented to Mr. and Mrs. 
Leonard. A delightful supper was served buffet at a late hour. Those invited 
to enjoy Mr. and Mrs. Leonard’s hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Lankford, 
of Tucker; Rev. and Mrs. C.V. Weathers, Rev. and Mrs. Pearl Connally, Mr. and 
Mrs. O.O. Lankford, Dr. and Mrs. M.M. McGehee, of Clarkston; Mr. and Mrs. E.A. 
Minor, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Everett, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Fleming, Mr. and Mrs. H.U. 
Gates, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Gates, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henson, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. 
Niall, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Waggoner, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Leonard, Mr. and Mrs. 
Horace Minor, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Garner, of Norcross; Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Garner,
