Man Killed Accidentally Loganville, Ga., November 25 – While hunting near here today A.P. Bowen, 33, was accidentally shot and killed by J.C. Alpha, chief of police of Loganville. The men were returning to town when Bowen shot and killed a rabbit, and as he stooped to pick it up, Alpha’s gun was accidentally discharged, the whole load of shot striking Bowen in the head killing him instantly. At the coroner’s inquest Alpha was exonerated. Bowen is a farmer. He is survived by his widow and three small daughters. His funeral will be held here Wednesday.
