The young man was a nephew of George Washington Collier, and had many friends in the city. He had been ill for some time, suffering intensely from the disease that caused his death. His funeral will be conducted from the home of his parents this afternoon at two thirty o’clock, internment taking place at Sardis church. The following gentlemen, all cousins of the deceased, will act as pallbearers: Meredith Collier, Andrew Collier, Dr. Jeff Collier, George W. Collier, Jr., Virgil Collier and Paul McDonald.
