She was a native of Akron, Ohio. A retired custodial worker from Sew-Sew Mgf.Company in Centre, Alabama and a member of Fairview United methodist Church. She was a kind and loving person who cherished doing for others. Services were held June 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Larry Sumrall officiating. Berial was in Fairview Cemetery with Perry Funeral Home Directing. Mrs. Dickerhoof is surived by a son Frank "Buddy"(Annie Mae)Dickerhoof of Centre, Alabama; two daughters, Linda Dickerhoof of Dacula, Georgia, and Nancy (Lester) Hicks, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; two brothers, Russell (Betty) McEwen of Detroit, Michigan and Bobby (Dot) McEwen of Centre, Alabama; sisters, Joan McEwen Jordan of Centre,Alabama and Patti(Charles)McEwen Morris of Gadsden, Alabama; five grandchildren,10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, special friends and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late George and Alice Bradley McEwen. Additional Comments: Geraldine's ansesters are from Gwinnett County Georgia. In the 1820 Censes.
