Sanders officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, Owens of Heflin directing. Mr. Hale was born in Gwinnett county, Ga. and came to Cleburne county in his early youth. He farmed on Cane Creek near here for about 42 years. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Fannie Hale; three sons, S.T. Hale of Cane Creek; T.Z. and I.V. Hale of near Haleyville; a daughter Mrs. Sherman Henry of Cane Creek; two sisters Mrs. Martha Walker of Holly Pond and Mrs. Emma Bennett of Edwardsville.
